REVEL YOGA INSTRUCTORS
Laura discovered yoga in 2009 while working on her PhD in Art History at UCSD. The stress and anxiety produced by that environment led her to seek a way to manage her thoughts and emotions, and to take time for herself to enjoy the present moment. Fortunate enough to begin practicing Vinyasa Yoga, she gradually noticed the changes in her mind, body and spirit. Laura earned her 200 hour yoga certification in Interdisciplinary Flow in 2015, and has taken special certifications and trainings in yin yoga, the yoga wall, prenatal yoga, yoga for senior citizens, hands-on adjustments, and aerial yoga. Her classes focus on proper alignment and safety for all levels, using props when appropriate to help open all areas of the body; making students feel stronger, more flexible, and more relaxed. She invites her students to approach her with any questions, injuries or issues; if a pose doesn’t work for your body, she will find one that does! Check out her New Beats and Bliss Class coming to you on Wednesday Nights.

LAURA ANNE WHITAKER
Laura began her yoga journey completely by mistake. After a torn rotator cuff kept her from kickboxing, a friend of hers suggested Bikram Yoga. After studying ballet as a teenager, she loved the structure and intensity of hot yoga. Over time Laura discovered that the postures inexplicably were changing how she reacted to life. She continued to study and expand her knowledge of yoga.
After ten years of practice, she knew it was time to take the leap into sharing yoga with other practitioners. She completed her RYT 200 in April of 2013, and has never looked back. She went on to earn her E-RYT 200 and YACEP certificates in June of 2016. Laura teaches Hot Yoga, Barre, Slow Flow, Yin, Vinyasa, Deep Stretch, Power Yoga and Cardio Sculpt. Her classes are rooted in alignment, technique, patience and freedom. Laura lives and teaches in San Diego County.

ALICIA DI MOLA
Alicia first discovered yoga in a high school gym class in 2004. She was intrigued at how wonderful it made her feel physically and spiritually but was intimidated. Having always been a very athletic person she continued down her path without yoga. Only after she suffered severe trauma from domestic violence in her first marriage at the age of 22 did she rediscover the healing powers of yoga. After fully immersing herself into her yoga practice was she able to heal her deep wounds and discover her passion for the practice. Through this warm and inviting community she realized it is her duty to share and spread the love and compassion that yoga has to offer all of us.
Practice with Alicia every Tuesday night at 6:15pm
Anne grew up training in the San Diego area in Lyrical Dance, Hula, Ballet, and Jazz. She continued her dance studies and worked as a Personal Trainer in college while earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from UCSD and a Master of Forensic Science Degree from National University. Although her professional career led her into the Criminal Justice and Education fields, she always found herself returning to dance and yoga not only for the challenging physical benefits, but for the balancing, calming mental impact as well. Anne earned her Group Fitness Instructor certification through the Athletics and Fitness Association of America. She hopes that her Gentle Flow classes will leave you feeling refreshed with new energy, calmer with a more balanced mentality, and happier with a smile on your face.
